Plenary Session - Environment and Breast Cancer Prevention

Saturday, September 13, 2003

8:30am–10:30am
Ballroom 20A

What do we know so far about the environmental causes of breast cancer and what questions need to be asked and answered to finally settle the question? Our panel will not only discuss the difficulties inherent in researching the environmental causes of breast cancer and in translating what we do know into rational public policy, but will also discuss the steps needed to overcome these difficulties. These distinguished leaders in the field have both theoretical and hands-on experience, and our hope is that this discussion will result in an outline for action in the laboratory, in the field, and in our own lives.
