Scientists on non-traditional research paths
Even though CBCRP funds grants to people on non-traditional research paths—e.g. part-time and those with non-faculty appointments—we heard that these type of researchers face institutional challenges that can prevent them from continuing in breast cancer. CBCRP should examine special challenges facing high-quality researchers, who are committed to breast cancer and have good ideas but who are not on a traditional research path.
